World Mission University (WMU) was granted Candidate Status with The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) in 2004, which is a pre-accredited status. In 2006, WMU was granted accredited status as being an institution that met or exceeded the Standards of the Association, which initially is approved for a five-year period. Last October, WMU hosted an onsite evaluation team for the process of reaffirmation of the institution’s accredited status, which if approved, is granted for a period of ten-years.

WMU is excited to announce that during ABHE’s 64th Annual Meeting held on February 23-26th in Orlando, Fl., WMU was granted reaffirmation of its accredited status. This is a significant achievement for the institution and it validates the institutions continued commitment toward excellence.

Four administrators and faculty attended The Association for Biblical Higher Education’s Annual Meeting this year. For the purpose of strategic development of the institution, these four administrators attended special pre-conference certification workshops as part of an ongoing commitment by the institution for professional development of its administrators.

Dr. Sung Jin Lim and Rev. Paul JongHo Lim attended the Certified Enrollment Professional Workshop while Dr. Keum Hee Lee and Prof. Sonia SoMyung Hwang attended the Certified Stewardship Professional Workshop in addition to attending the regular conference sessions.
