World Mission University becomes the first Korean Theological school to receive full accreditation membership by the ATS.

On Aug. 8, 2013, World Mission University received accreditation by the ATS (The Association of Theological Schools) for the graduate program. As achieving full accreditation from ATS at this time, WMU became the first Korean Theological school to have a series of accreditation status by the accreditation organizations under the U.S. department of education (ATS, ABHE, and TRACS) for both undergraduate and graduate programs.

ATS is the most authoritative organization to accredit institutions of the United States and Canada, and the ATS member schools are as follows: Harvard University Divinity School, Yale University Divinity School, Princeton Theological Seminary, Fuller Theological Seminary, Talbot School of Theology of Biola University, Azusa Pacific Graduate School of Theology, and Claremont School of Theology.
